Windy City

Windy City, Chicago’s first CrossFit gym, was facing an increasingly crowded market and looking to differentiate themselves. Their website was a key component of re-thinking their overall brand experience, a process that was being led by the talented team at Knoed Creative. Together, along with Surprise Highway, who handled the back-end development, we helped deliver a site that has supported the gym’s evolution and positioned them well for future success.
Role: Front-End Development
Launch: windycitycrossfit.com

“I’m the annoying Creative Director who asks Brett to move something 1 pixel. He does it every time, and with a smile. I have yet to meet a developer other than Brett who cares about the details as much as I do. And one with his patience!”

Kim Knoll—Partner + Creative Director, Knoed

Responsive front-end development

The site features a dashboard where users can view upcoming workouts and share their results with other members. Careful consideration was taken to create a user experience that successfully translated across devices, even as the content hierarchy and layout changed considerably in some cases.
